BODA, British Overseas Dramatic Arts is a performing arts school focused on delivering a British syllabus of dramatic arts education. Our focus as a drama school is the training of infants, children and young adults towards the award of professional accredited qualifications in performance and the dramatic arts. We offer accredited TRINITY COLLEGE LONDON examinations in Speech & Drama, Acting, Musical Theatre and in Communication Skills.
Our classes are structured to offer our British Drama syllabi to children grouped in to one of five separate age groups. We tailor our training to each individual developmental stage and whilst our courses are progressive and build upon previously taught skills, we have a tailored entry programme which allows any child to join our school regardless of previous dramatic arts experience.
Our talented training and teaching team are all British trained teaching professionals. Each and every teacher at BODA is qualified as a minimum to graduate standard and will hold a degree and drama training certification from an accredited British drama school alongside their teaching qualifications and experience.
Our standard is unashamedly high, but this is reflected in the achievements of our students. Notably in 2018 so far, 97 percent of BODA students achieved a DISTINCTION grading (The highest grade available) in the annual external TRINITY exams.
